I have volunteered and adopted. They are top notch rescue. The dog in their care get the best care possible. We have adopted two Shepards from them and both have need excellent. The first one was a boy Shepards that was turned into City Shelter, He was a very sweet boy and unfortunately had a broken toe that had to be amputated. They still rescued him from the shelter then had a vet take care of his toe and paid for the procedure and after care. The second Shepard was a young stray found in Huntington Beach. She was so thin you could count her rib. She was vetted and has becomes a wonderful addition to the home. They never turn a pup away because of cost.
