Personally, I have had an amazing experience interning at Udayan Care. This was my first experience working an NGO and I feel that I have gained certain learnings that would help me a lot in my life. Being enrolled in the LIFT Fellowship program, I gained deep insights into alternative care, after care and care leaving. Working with the project ideas for the fellows made me realise a feeling of empathy and compassion for each individual who has been a part of a CCI. My expertise in project implementation helped the overall planning of project ideas for the fellows.

I also did field work for one of the Udayan Ghar Home's and had a great experience. Overall, I had an amazing program coordinator to assist me throughout my internship process and I am extremely thankful for her guidance and mentorship
