Hope Kids has not only helped all of our children be exposed to children with other life limiting illnesses but additionally helped with being a foundational pillar in our life. When we received our eldest sons diagnosis it was devastating to our family. We felt completely alone and our marriage tension went up. When we found HopeKids we were able to start to even attend some events as date nights for the parents and get some quality time together while our oldest was at the hospital or with a care giver. It was so life giving to our marriage. As our son began to regain strength and join us at HopeKids events it exposed him to understanding he is not alone and many other children have these crosses to bear. Our two, going on three other children have also been able to be exposed to other children and siblings in similar circumstances which we hope as they get older helps them develop compassion and understanding for some of the extra attention we need to give their brother.
