I have volunteered with SOSA for many years. They are true to their mission, very lean in terms of staff and fundraising, and are making permanent improvements in the places they work. I highly recommend them.

SOSA not only helps feed people by using fresh crops that would otherwise be thrown away, they help educate people about the causes and cures for food insecurity. Friends who have participated in their work come back more compassionate for those in need around them.
