Interning at Udayan Care was eye-opening experience. It was a very enriching experience as it provided us with an insight into the social sector setting. I learned a great deal while working here as I was working towards a cause and making an effort to help the underserved section of the society. During my field visit to one of the Udayan Small Group Home, I learned the importance of a sense of belongingness and a combination of two very basic yet fulfilling things, simplicity and happiness". It was my first time volunteering at an NGO and I can very safely say that I could not have asked for a better experience.
