Volunteering then transitioning (based on their great impact) into a staff role has been a rewarding experience and an unexpected, new career track. YEA has been instrumental in combining my passions deeply rooted in South Florida. I now have the opportunity to educate young participants and the young at heart regarding good stewardship of our natural resources and Florida's unique ecosystems. In classroom settings, on fieldtrips/tours, through hands-on restorations/cleanup events, YEA hits the target delivering engaging activities and up-to-date curriculum supplements. It's a privilege to intentionally reach and serve our communities and partners!
