I recently received a grant from High Fives and am beyond grateful for the incredible support they provide to individuals like me. Earlier this year I sustained a spinal cord injury while snowboarding, leaving me paralyzed from the waist down. Thanks to this grant, I can continue focusing on physical therapy which has helped me regain feeling and motor control below the level of my injury. I’m looking forward to joining the community and eventually getting back out surfing again. Thanks High Fives!
