I am so thankful to be a volunteer member of Virginia Organizing in the far Southwest District. I moved down here about 5 years ago, when it had some of the old-timers, grass root peoples that were very inspirational. But then it began to flounder for a bit. I am grateful that Terran Young took up the baton to carry it on. She very much inspires the voice and activity of others without running the show. That's just my blunt way to put it. The right kind of leadership that raises other leaders.
The organization itself really does care about the social well being, and environmental concerns of the people.
I have personally invited a lot of people to be a part of it as well.
