At the beginning of the year I wanted to find something local that would allow for my children and I to volunteer every week. I want my children to have the opportunity to serve others and unfortunately it can be very difficult to find places that allow children to serve. I heard about Days for Girls and that they recently opened a space that people could come and volunteer each week without setting up a time. I thought this could be the perfect opportunity. The women who run the program are absolutely amazing and so welcoming to my children and I. It has been such a blessing to serve with them and teach my children all about the amazing work that they do for the girls and women around the world. It has also been an amazing opportunity to teach my kids about the privileges that they experience and the necessity of helping those who may need it. We love days for girls!!
