I have been volunteering with MMIA going on 3 years now. I am thankful to be involved with a non profit that gives so much to Veterans. MMIA has many opportunities for the community to get involved and volunteer. In operating on a daily basis with volunteers the amount per dollar spent on assisting Veterans and their families is extremely high.
It is wonderful to be a part of such a positive environment where everyone has the same goal: to do what we can for our Veterans who have done so much for us.
To speak with a Veteran who has just had a ramp built by our volunteer team or a community group that has just spent an afternoon assisting to pack toiletries for active duty Military and hear the thankfulness in their voices makes my day !!!
