I joined the AWF board last fall and it has been a wonderful experience. My fellow board members are committed to the mission of our shelter. Our shelter staff are organized and dedicated. Our volunteers are helpful and loving. And of course... the animals we are helping are sweet. We recently had a dog park opening and I was pleased with the number of people who attended. I think it's important to remember that AWF is the ONLY animal shelter in Jones County and we operate on donations alone. Our little furry friends are counting on us! Looking forward to continuing to be a part of this wonderful organization and to helping save many, many animals now and in the future.
