As a long-time volunteer of the Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge, I've seen the love, compassion and care that these animals receive from staff and volunteers. We are all so lucky to share in their lives and to have the opportunity to do that. The Refuge builds homes for these animals specific to their needs and educates visitors about the animals and their mission. It is impossible not to fall in love with the animals and to respect what this amazing non-profit does to ensure their protection and welfare. They not only provide sanctuary, but give them the medical care and attention they need to live their best lives.

I've been a long-time supporter of The Goathouse Refuge. I love that they have created a safe outdoor environment for the cats so they can have the best of both worlds. I know that Siglinda truly cares about the animals and goes to great lengths to help them. They take special needs animals that others might not be able to and will give them a lifetime home at the Refuge if they are unable to be adopted. It does my heart good to know that there is a special place like this.
