I have been a part of CWW for 10 years and am constantly amazed by the hard work, dedication and countless hours that our volunteers and board members give, year after year! CWW has helped so many at risk children and young adults turn their lives around. This organization is there every day with both physical and monetary assistance as well as working with local officials to enact laws to help those in foster care. I hate to think what would happen to the children and young adults in local foster care without Connect With A Wish.

Over the past almost 10 years, I have watched this non-profit group help foster children and their families in ways that I only could have only imagined. Their volunteers work tirelessly helping not only foster children in Virginia Beach but also in surrounding areas. The community has truly embraced this group and is always willing to pitch in. They have developed a strong working relationship with city officials, Human Resources and other non-profits in order to get the job done. These folks move mountains for foster families and I hate to think where those that need them would be without their help. They provide support in all areas of life for so many children/young adults, from supplies, camps, lessons, classes, basic supplies, gifts and most importantly a shoulder to lean on.
