UpGlo is an incredible organization, simply put. I serve on their San Francisco Leadership Council, and have seen first hand the commitment to immigrant and refugee jobseekers looking for employment here in the US that is commensurate with their skills and experience. Not only do they leverage their extensive network of employer partnerships to connect jobseekers to relevant jobs, but they provide a range of job training and mentorship opportunities to give jobseekers a better sense of the US work environment and to help them build their networks. They also continue to play a very influential role in the local and national policy dialogue around workforce development for immigrants and refugees - they are a very unique voice at the table and one that must continue to be represented.
