Review for Paws For Seniors, Toms Brook, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We just adopted the cutest kitten from Paws For Seniors. He is a Bengal/Maine Coon/Domestic Long Hair mix who loves to talk and has an abundance of energy. We had put in to adopt a large 2-year old cat at the local Petsmart where Paws For Seniors showcases adoptable cats/kittens. We didn't get this boy, but Brenda knew what type of cat/kitten were were looking for and she tapped us on the shoulder when they rescued the Mom, Dad, and 6 kittens knowing one of them would be a great fit for us and our 17-month old Maine Coon Loki. This rescue group is absolutely fantastic to work with, absolutely no regrets. The kittens were too young to take home, but they let us pick out our boy. The foster, Jamie, was so wonderful with the kittens, she took pictures as they grew, and she let us visit a couple of times. This allowed us to have pics of our boy while we waited, and get to know him.

Well yesterday was the big day and we brought him home. I was amazed by how easy the pickup process was, and the packet of information about his health was much more detailed and informative than I would have expected. They even microchipped the kittens. Everything we needed to know about his past shots, deworming, neutering, and more.

He is doing absolutely fantastic and adjusting very well. Loki his big brother is taking time to adjust, he has been an only child for the past 17-months. He loves other cats and dogs, but this is different because the kitten is in his home. We are taking it slow, and in time I hope they become best friends!
Thanks for everything Brenda and Jamie. He is being spoiled rotten already!

Thank you so much!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I really can't think of anything off hand. I was a fantastic experience all round.
