My husband and I have been volunteering at Operation Shoebox for about 6 months now. We were looking for an organization where we could actually make a difference. Helping our military seemed like a worthwhile venture. We were amazed at the scope of this organization. So much work goes into making the packages and letters that are going to our troops overseas. It is very rewarding to know that we are helping to booster the morale of our military around the world with the "care packages" we send. All the volunteers are so dedicated. We even recruited one of our neighbors to volunteer. Operation Shoebox relies on a lot of donations to make all this happen. It is very heartwarming to know that we are "making a difference". We are so proud to be a part of this incredible organization.
