I used to volunteer at HSSA, and boy what a night and day difference! I always tell everyone that I want to die and come back as a cat here! It's basically a high-end senior retirement home for cats. There are so many comfy beds, blankets, cat trees and furniture that I don't know how they decide where to go next! I am disabled and am currently limited to what I can do physically, so this is the perfect place for me because there are so many helpers to keep things clean and tidy that I can spend all my hours just giving the precious babies the love and attention they need and deserve. I wish every animal rescue were like this, I would sleep better knowing how incredibly well cared for the animals were!! Jeanmarie and Becky are the most caring and compassionate people you could ask for to run a place like this. The proof is in the pudding!
