On behalf of my daughter who has cerebral palsy and is non-verbal, we could not be happier with the joy and physical benefit that our daughter, Jacqueline, receives from her therapy as well as the intereaction wiht the horses. Our Saturday visits to Saddle Up are the one thing each week that we can plainly see her look forward to and anticipate. As we approach the ring in the car, she gets more excioted, adn the closer she gets to the actual horses, the faster the run/walks.

Of course, it is the physical benfit that Jacqueline derives from the therapy that is the true benfit from the exercise. As soon as she sits astride the horse she noramlly rides, Roxy, she sits up straighter than at any other time. She becomes more focused and alert, clearly relishing the experience and using muscles that she normally never would. The volunteers and staff of Saddle Up could not be kinder and more interested in our daughter's well being.
