Review for SSEP, Fountain Vly, CA, USA

SSEP is a great resource for all who work in the field of diabetes and pregancy. SSEP fulfills a need nationwide by training health care professionals in current diabetes and reproductive health issues. It is the only nonprofit organization that is totally focused on diabetes and reproductive issues. I do not know of any organization that has such a focus to improving outcomes for women with diabetes that are contemplating pregnancy or have diagnosed with gestational diabetes

Ensuring that patients are provided the newest education and technology advances available to imporve quality of care and improve outcomes for our patients. Sample forms, guidelines, patient education materilas are only a brief overview of what is availble. Anytime I need any inofrmation they have it. They are great, I believe we would not be able to take care of the patients as we do without them.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Increase exposure. Allow them the funding and support to reach out to even more areas in the US

Role:  Professional with expertise in this field & I am an educator for women with diabetes. The come and recieve education to achieve healthy pregnanacy outcomes.. We also provide culturally specific education for the Latina pop and Asian indian population.
