I am a rescue volunteer and have worked with Misfits for a number of years. The reason I have chosen to work with Misfits is that they are a small organization and truly care for the dogs. Many dogs that have been in the program are seniors that just need a chance for a second beginning. They also take in dogs that need medical care, and dogs that have been passed on by other groups because they need special treatment to overcome trauma they have experienced. This speaks volumes for the organization.
Personally, I adopted a Misfit, and he has been a joy to have. I'm grateful for the support Misfits gives to dogs that would otherwise not have a chance.
