I have watched Wings for Widows grow since its inception and was asked to be on the board this year and gladly accepted. I have had a number of women I have known in my life that became widowed and struggled getting their lives back on track. The loss of a spouse is hard enough without having to recover alone. I just wish I would had been able to introduce Wings for Widows to them. I now can. This is a great organization.
