Review for GAP Ministries, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Every time I visit the Gap Campus of Hope, I am amazed by Gap's huge and expanding vision of ways to serve people and help the community.
On any given day there may be 200 + people or nonprofits at the Gap Community Warehouse, "shopping" with free vouchers and/or picking up free food. In addition, pallets of donated food items are distributed weekly to over 17 nonprofits.
The Culinary School and kitchen (presently in the process of moving and upgrading) normally prepares hundreds of meals every week for low income kids, schools and foster children, all while providing second chance career training for the under employed or unemployed.
There is also an Automotive career training shop and there is retail training in the "Treasures and More" thrift store.
All this is in addition to the Splash Foster homes, parent visitation oversight, and Foster Parent training and licensing.
I love how this Nonprofit demonstrates a heart of caring and service to the Tucson community.
