I’ve been a volunteer for Growth Ministries Inc for approximately 3 years. It’s one of the most rewarding non-profits I’m affiliated with. Growth Ministries Inc is committed to serving individuals and families that have been impacted by incarceration as well as the life events that lead to incarceration. I’ve had first hand view of how their newsletter has been been a rope of hope for those barely holding on to life due to long term imprisonment, substance abuse/addictions, malnourished spiritually …as well as those dealing with Illiteracy and mental illness. GMI… is in the trenches with a forgotten and neglected community of men and women. This non-profit is placing Bibles in the hands of those that need a word of hope and encouragement. Donating toiletries and clothing to meet the hygienic and basic human needs of others without judgement and embarrassment. Additionally, being a face upon release to continue serving as men and women are transitioning back into society and with their families. GMI is the real deal. You will see the fruit of your volunteer service and donations.
