I began serving with this ministry in April 2022. I can say without hesitancy as a volunteer who happens to be an ex-felon and has overcome legal issues in my past, that Growth Ministries Inc., has done a phenomenal job in reaching the men and the women who are behind bars here in the Kansas and Missouri area. Whether it be ministering to the men and women in Lansing, Topeka or even on the Missouri side, jails and prisons, this ministry has provided spiritual guidance through worship services, resources, programs like "Dear Mama", basketball clinics in jail, aftercare following release, in all ways. In fact this ministry has even ministered to those incarcerated in the Philippines. Not too many if any Ministry in the United States is ministering to those incarcerated both in this country, the United States, and in another country. That says a lot. I have absolutely loved my time serving and will continue to serve this ministry because I believe God calls us to minister to those who are in prison.
