NICA is an amazing organization filled with passionate, caring people who are committed to pursuing excellence in their mission to support positive youth development through mountain biking.

Everyone involved with NICA is aligned with the core organization values of fun, inclusivity, equity, respect, and community. These values guide all aspects of NICA programming, including race weekends, GRiT (Girls Riding Together), Adventure, Teen Trail Corps, and top-level coach education.

I have been involved with NICA since 2012 when my fourteen-year old son started mountain biking with the Tennessee league. As I have progressed from mountain-biking mom to team coach and to Coach Supporter and the league GRiT Coordinator working to empower girls and women in biking, NICA has given me amazing opportunities to share my love of biking and passion for empowering others with a huge community of like-minded people of all ages.

What inspires me the most is seeing so many kids having fun on bikes, overcoming challenges, and growing skills and confidence in themselves. Knowing that I can help provide those opportunities for kids and their families through NICA is truly meaningful. Being part of the NICA community has transformed my life and inspires me to share my experience with others so that we can all be awesome together!
