As an intern looking for a flexible, creative, and innovative venue to represent public health, Assuaged Foundation did not fall short of providing this and more. However, before I share my experience, I want to acknowledge the foundation's leader. Cynthia Murphy is a trailblazer who has presented opportunities for growth and development. Her enthusiasm, expertise, and caring disposition all contributed to the foundation experience I had. Her vision and willingness to open her doors allowed me to gain insight into various software, products and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals.

My experience at the Assuaged Foundation was vast. I learned about many software programs to make my life as a leader manageable and extend my reach to the community as a public health professional. Working alongside like-minded peers was terrific. Having different experts in one place allowed for a great learning curve and the opportunity to build lasting relationships. Although I enjoyed many tasks, I enjoyed how, as a foundation, we could take complex issues, address them, and present them in a simplistic manner. It was remarkable that you allowed me to work on what I felt passionate about and have a platform to share it. I recommend those who want to utilize the most current programs, work with knowledgeable leaders and peers, and showcase their products to volunteer/intern with Assuage Foundation.
