My mother had breast cancer when she was when she was 79. She is now a two times cancer survivor. She felt that when God kept her here on Earth that He still had a purpose for her. She went to her pastor asking to be involved in a community outreach or mission. He told her that the church would not be involved in anything like that. Pastor David and Melony prayed and decided to have Bridge of Hope support my mom’s ministry. She participates with others who feed the homeless in Spokane WA. She and Sonia provide not food but rather beverages (coffee, tea, lemonade, and the favorite hot cocoa), personal needs (feminine products, much needed socks, etc.), and of course ministering to their spiritual needs.
