Review for Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences Inc, Doraville, GA, USA
After professional counseling and two years of abstaining from drink my husband was still not experiencing any real joy in his life. He was going through the motions of life. with the feeling that so much was missing. He was depressed angry and hopeless. In 1990 my brother inlaw entered into treatment at MARR. He would share some of the things he was experiencing at MAAR with my husband. Ater seeing a visable difference in my brother inlaws life my husbnd sought treatment. MARR helped my husband recover not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. In the MARR community he found hope. The fellowship, self awareness. and real relationship with his higher power that resulted from his time in treatment has brought him true joy. Since that time 2 other brother inlaws have sought treatment in MARR. Their treatment at MARR saved their lives and restored their relationships with their wives and children.
