I have been donating to St. Joe's for a couple of decades. My brother and I were raised in Oklahoma. Being tri-racial, we were bullied from all three sides. Mom enrolled us in parochial school because she was determined to protect her children. She knew we could negotiate a cruel world better with a solid education. Mom was right. It was that education that kept me away from drugs and taught me how to deal with a college education and adulthood.

The education of our children will determine the future of our country and planet. I chose St. Joe's because they are fully transparent. The children at St. Joe's deserve to participate in all the opportunities a solid education provides. For this reason, I will continue to support this amazing charity.
