 I am Bismark Awine Akansise, a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship program. I am currently in my second year pursuing a Doctor of Optometry degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), in the Ashanti region of Ghana.Since joining the EPI scholarship program in 2021, I have experienced tremendous personal and academic growth. The support and guidance provided by the program has helped me excel academically, achieving good grades and developing a deeper understanding of my field of study.The reason I chose to pursue a degree in optometry is because of my passion for helping people in need. Through the EPI scholarship program, I have been given the opportunity to pursue my dreams and make a difference in my community and Ghana as a whole.After completing my program of study, I plan to give back to my community. I believe that this is one of the best ways I can use my education to make a positive impact on the lives of others.I want to express my sincerest appreciation to the EPI scholarship program for the opportunity to pursue my dreams and make a difference in my community. The support and guidance provided by the program has truly been life-changing, and I am forever grateful for their investment in my future.Therefore, I highly recommend the EPI scholarship program to anyone looking to pursue their academic and professional dreams.
