I have had the recent privilege of partnering with Finding Freedom Through Friendship in an endeavor to expand an after-school educational program in the community of San Lorenzo El Cubo, Guatemala. FFF keeps their focus on the overall health and well-being of the community, and for all ages, from meeting the basic needs of food, water filters, health needs, to the finding resolutions to the educational deficits in the community.
The goal at the forefront of FFF's mission is to keep their ears and eyes always open to understanding what is immediate and necessary to help the marginalized individual or community - and how to make the most impact. And exceptional to their operation is their level of transparency and making every dollar count to meeting the pressing needs they assist.
