I was blessed to have visited the center during a service and justice trip and it was an amazing experience. My group was provided an incredible and thorough in-depth analysis on immigration and possible solutions to the complex world of immigration. However, it wasn't just what we learned that made the experience great, but who we met. Mary, Saif, Amanda, and Marisol you blessed us with not only your knowledge but by being so open with us and that's what I will cherish the most. Most people aren't comfortable revealing aspects of their lives especially the hardships they face, but your stories and the work you all do to help others is truly inspiring. Amanda has such a difficult job but for her to take time out of her schedule, go with us to the courthouse and explain to us the court processes and introduce us to the judges and the U.S. Marshals, I am eternally grateful.

To Saif and Mary, our hosts, Mary you are an inspiration to my entire group. You are an amazing strong powerful woman, and I will make sure to not waste my time when I'm sitting at the table. Thank you, for sharing with us about not only complaining about a problem but also providing the solutions.

Saif, you are the best. From educating us, to showing us around the city, to sharing with us your life and your favorite spots, and for keeping us safe. Your knowledge on immigration was incredible and you made me look at perspectives I didn't even think about. Thank you for being so open with us and making this experience not only really fun, but a once in a lifetime experience.
