The time I spent at MARR is one of the great blessings of my life. I couldn't have known that then; but I know it today. MARR gave me a safe place to get sober. While I was there I met men who practiced the principles of recovery in their daily lives and lived happily and usefully whole lives. The staff there was great and helped me see that my own bad decisions and fears had been my greatest enemy for years. I was the problem, and therefore, there was a solution. The solution that I was offered was a spiritual experience that allowed me to build my own relationship with God. The central fact of my life today is that I have a loving relationship with God and a spiritual basis for solving the problems of daily living rather than a chemical one. Thank you MARR.
