OSW has granted several wishes I've submitted on behalf of children in foster care. Their CEO is one of the kindest humans I've ever met, and genuinely believes in her mission. Her salary is modest for all the years of hard work and emotions she's devoted to OSW. I mention this because it's an important factor for many donors looking for the right nonprofit to support. As a fellow nonprofit founder with a similar mission, I was so excited to find this organization. We have worked together on some community giving projects with the same goals, and connected each other with resources! It’s amazing to find people who don’t compete with other nonprofits. It’s all for the kids, and they do wonderful work for those in need.
