I have been a supporter of this rescue on Facebook for a few years and have raised a little bit of money for her rescue on Facebook.

I am a California State Retiree and my chapter, which covers her geographic territory, voted to award her rescue $500 in 2022.

I found this great rescue on Facebook and I volunteered to take photos for their Open House Fundraiser in March 2023.

I went to their website from Facebook and noticed that two young women own/run this rescue and that they are a member of my LGBTQ community. I think that they are very brave and forward thinking to disclose the community they belong to. By divulging that community, that I too am part of, they gained a volunteer and a friend in me.

Their ranch is clean and they take care of the animals as if they are their own which they are since they run the rescue.

They are very good at educating the Open House attendees about the horrible conditions some of these animals come from and that many horses are sent to slaughter when the owner can't make money off them anymore. They are sold by the pound for meat.

People learn what the animals eat and don't eat as well what their "handicaps" are and how the rescue helps them.

The rescue is a 501(c)3 not for profit and runs on donations as well as people volunteering to help on the ranch.
