Although I agree with the mission and methods of this organization, their fundraising methods are heavy handed. I was solicited by a lovely woman outside a business. I wanted to give a one time gift and a small monthly gift. She told me they don’t accept gifts that low. I thought that to be a bit ballsy but agreed to it, planning to discontinue after a few months. I tried to cancel but first couldn’t find a way to do that. So I disputed the charges to my CC. They still did not stop charging. Finally they sent a year-end giving statement with a request to increase my donation. I returned that stub stating that I withdrew my permission for them to withdraw funds from my CC. Still getting charged. I found where I could email them and have just done that. Meanwhile I dispute their charges every month and will continue to do so.
