I'm at the young age of 17, but my experiences with cancer have been all too real. I've unfortunately had quite a few loved ones suffer the pain and some, death due to cancer. After discovering Cancer Schmancer and what their mission is, I only wish that my loved ones would have had this uplifting organization around during their battle. Knowing that one is never too young to have cancer, I'm thankful that Cancer Schmancer is working toward the goal to get all cancer patients diagnosed at stage one. Hearing Fran say "Take control of your body!" has encouraged me to ask my doctor about my worries. It makes me feel like I am not the only one asking their doctor embarrassing questions and getting them checked out.
