Review for Save A Forgotten Equine, Redmond, WA, USA
I have been involved in horse rescue for many years and had experiences with many different organizations during this time, and I can say without a doubt that SAFE is the best one around. SAFE operates with about 95% of their donations going directly to the horses care; they have no paid staff members and are very open with their financial information. SAFE not only provides all necessary medical care for their horses but they also provide training to help ensure that when these horses are adopted out that they will be a good match for their new family. I have seen SAFE help horses young and old, providing them with not only food, water and shelter, but with love and compassion valuing each life.
This rescue operates with honesty, integrity and absolutely always in the best interest of the horses!

I have fostered horses for SAFE and seen how a community of volunteers really comes together to rally around and provide whatever support is needed. I have seen how their programs operate and watched horses thrive in their care.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would like to see SAFE have more funds available to help more horses.
