Pelican harbor has been a haven for lost and broken wildlife since before my time. I was lucky enough to grow up 10 minutes away and being the water lover and fisherman at heart that I've always been, I've had plenty of encounters with sick or injured wildlife in and around the biscayne bay surrounding areas. Time and time again thes guys will step up to the plate when it come to animal rescue. Please send them your support. My recent opposum and squirl rescues were successfully rehabilitated and released as it should be and they continue to do excellent work in all areas of wildlife protection and conservation. I've brought in countless pelicans,cormorants, seaguls and many others. Please send them your support, and if you come across an animal in need these are the people to call, they care and will do right by animal 10 times out of 10.
