BEST provides fantastic opportunities for students of all ages (volunteers, mentors, etc) to learn about the engineering process, design and robotics. I've been involved since 2001.

I have watched students move from year to year, growing and learning. One student stopped me last year to thank me for my participation -he was getting ready to graduate and continue his education at a 4-year college environment.

Offer more training for teachers and mentors that is geared for the novice --not the expert.
