Assistance League of Kansas City helps through the Kansas City Area. This nonprofit organization has many projects that assist needs for children, young adults and adults. The one I am most familiar with is Operation School Bell. Operation School Bell provides new clothing for students who are school age. As a retired teacher, over the years of teaching I saw the excitement of students who received the new clothes. The students are selected by teachers who see the student's daily needs. I appreciate everything Assistance League of Kansas City does for our community.
