I was given the number to animal support project after my dog Sally had choked. I was terrified and couldn't afford to take her to the vet. That and my poor ellie had a double ear infection.... money has been so tight I felt like a terrible owner knowing I couldn't do much more than buy over the counter cleaners and pain relief for her. I contacted tasp fully expecting to hear the same thing I had heard multiple times before "Im sorry but we can't help you. Maybe apply for care credit" nobody really understood just how broke I am.... I have about $2500 worth of bills and only have about "$500 income. Tasp covered the vet Bill to have Sally and Ellie seen. They checked on Sally, said she was okay.. checked Ellies ears, gave me medication for the ear infection and gave them both rabies vaccines... I haven't been able to do for them in a while and I'm just so happy to have found this organization... truly was a life saver. Melinda and her organization are doing God's work here.. I'm sure of it.
