My name is Michael Harry. I am a youth development researcher, community leader, and skill advocate in Nigeria. Sometime last year, I stumbled on the Facebook page of the AFRICAN WOMEN MOBILIZATION COMMISSION, AWMC @:https://web.facebook.com/WeAreAWMC.

Fascinated by the pictures and videos of real-life testimonies shared by the beneficiaries of its education scholarships; women and skills empowerment; Entrepreneurship training, etc I decided to reach out to the lead person of the organization, to speak to a community of young African creatives that I was building at the time. It was so easy to access the President of AWMC, Dr. Uwa Osimiri. And she immediately obliged.
Her speech was filled with passion and her dominant emphasis was on cutting-edge tech skills for women and men as an equalizer in the emerging smart world.
I can't be more excited that today I am myself a beneficiary of the GOOGLE CERTIFICATE TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP through the AWMC tech program for free! As an aspiring Software Engineer, I can't imagine how much this opportunity means to my life and career. I am really excited.
As a candid request, I will like to ask for the expansion of this offer and coverage to accommodate more participants in Nigeria and Africa.
