I have taken two groups of students to visit Walden Woods, and on both occasions, our experience was exceptional! Our knowledgeable tour leader Sarah Walker and the resident Thoreau scholar Jeff Cramer were both so generous with their knowledge and time that our students had a rewarding trip that left them with a better appreciation for Thoreau as an author and for Walden Woods as a valuable site worth conserving.
