I have been supporting the Himalayan Children's Fund and specifically Shree Mangal Dvip School for over 15 years. They are an organization with integrity and do wonderful work giving children the opportunity to expand their worlds, get educated, learn important spiritual lesson, and build community. They manage the funds they are given well, using them carefully and where it is most needed. Many of the SMD students go back to their villages in the mountains to teach or provide medical care. Others go on to serve the school or go abroad to make a life for themselves there. The Director of the SMD school, Shirley Blair, is a delight. She has dedicated her life to these children and this school and does it with grace and humility. She's made a huge difference and I'm grateful for all she's done. Support this school if you are able!
