In July 2022, Police Service Dog "Huk" of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was struck by gunfire at the conclusion of a vehicle pursuit involving suspects involved in a shooting. Huk was transported to a local emergency vet and underwent surgery. Charlie and Mitzi Nash of Irondog K9 International immediately reached out wanting to help. They pledged to cover any and all medical expenses related to Huk's recovery. To date, Irondog K9 International has paid nearly twenty thousand dollars. I am thankful for the continued support and generosity of Charlie and Mitzi.
