I guarantee that the "Nice" reviews defending this "Rescue" are members of AC$H's personal family. They keep posting under false names to keep their average rating on this site up.
These people are con artists. They fundraise for horses that have already been shipped to slaughter. They are so many levels of shady that people now call them the "Shady's" instead of "Sheidy".

I have volunteered with "Horse Rescue Relief and Retirement Fund Inc" for about 6 years altogether. I really like how they operate. Volunteers, board members and the founder (Cheryl Flanagan) all work together side by side.
All the animals they take in are treated equal, no ONE life is any better or worth more than another.
I also like the fact that they have other programs that help people in the community and all over the country. They have Fido's pet "Soup Kitchen" for people struggling to feed their pets in these hard economic times and they also have a hay exchange for horse owners that have fallen on hard times.
I have seen them help countless animals and people alike with whatever they needed to help make life easier for them.
It's like the web site states on the front, they aren't just a horse rescue,, they are also a Human rescue.
