I began volunteering with BEAMING, INC April 2021. Working with the horses speaks for itself, when you enter the barn your mind and body immediately relaxes. I would like to focus on the participants in our programs whether they are 5 or 91. 99% of our participants are excited to be at the barn. The parents tell us how their child is so focus during their "lesson" . Our senior participants are able to be in a safe relaxed environment outside of their home, the other benefit is the caregiver is able to network with other caregivers on programs offered for those with early dementia.
