My daughter was referred to City Of Hope Upland due to Tumors in her Uterus. She had suffered from much pain and the outside surgeon told her the tumor was growing fast. After one visit and an MRI the City Of Hope doctor telephone called her and told her with no empathy there are 2 I believe fibroid tumors but your to fat/heavy to operate your to risky. They send us all the difficult cases. She asked but the extreme pain, he said no it’s not the fibroid tumors, that’s my opinion and if you do not believe me that’s your problem. You are scared and to face a doctor with no human caring for peoples feeling, very callous. Not even a plan of action, he did say you need to loose 50 pound, she said I was 50 pounds lighter 6 months ago still had extreme pain and gained because it’s hard to walk and move. He just kept saying your to fat to do anything and it’s your problem if you don’t believe. It has taken over a year dealing with this, we were so happy to be referred to City Of Hope to be let down, to start again with no plan on what to do next.
