I am new to Venango Co and in my search for nonprofits that are truly making a difference in this area, Mustard Seed continuously came to the top of the list!

They seem to be the go-to source for every government organization that falls short of providing enough for people to really get on their feet. They send clients to Mustard Seed to get the most meaningful and necessary assistance.

Treasure House is a multi-award winning nonprofit. It helps women in crisis or transition. It works together with dozens of other nonprofits, to ensure support and safety for clients. They bring dignity and life back to women.

Specifically, it is an upscale quality thrift shop of beautiful donated clothing. Profits go to helping women in crisis. MOST IMPORTANTLY (for me) they hold after hours shopping, and donate gift certificates to give women in need. This way, they are able to get the outfits they need for life and interviews.

You can physically see the transformation when they feel better about how they present themselves to the world.
